Youth Voice, Youth Vote (YV2) Participatory Budgeting is the first youth-led process in the state! It is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, and will create projects that help youth ages 11- 25 recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
Participatory Budgeting, or PB for short, is a democratic process that allows ordinary community members to decide how to spend a part of a public budget. To learn more, check out this quick video.
This is a funded opportunity for $20/hr, for approximately a total of 50 hours of involvement. Payment involves completing and providing documentation and identification, but will not disqualify anyone from participation. Inquire for details.
